We are looking for a Backend Server Engineer to make primary contributions in hosted micro-services, edge computing, machine learning, and distributed communications.

Basic Requirements:
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
Comfortable working remotely with a team in the PST time zone
Ability to work and collaborate with remote engineers and designers
High attention to detail, high performance, and pride in quality of work
5+ years experience with one or more hosting platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
5+ years experience with one or more backend scripting languages (python, js)
5+ years experience with one or more compiled languages (c, c++, go)

Expert (5+ years) development skills in Java, Kotlin and Android SDK
Experience integrating video, tiled images, GIS viewers a huge plus

Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Principles

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to join our design team and help shape the design of our tablet and web app. As one of the first UX hires on the team, you will have the ability to influence the company’s product philosophy and vision.
