FOD-RAZOR Attachment

FOD-Razor® FBR-8

The FOD-Razor® FBR-8 is a friction mat sweeper that is ideal for airports who are concerned about small surface debris. The mat uses nylon-bristled panels to gather debris, which is then lifted by kinetic energy into plastic scoops for collection and later disposal. This is the most popular option at airports due to its efficiency, light weight, ease of transport, and lack of maintenance due to having no moving parts. However, it is less effective at collecting debris lodged in cracks or larger objects like cans, and its performance can be affected by strong winds exceeding 40 mph.

TracSweep® FBR-4 Attachment

TracSweep® FBR-4

The TracSweep® FBR-4 is a mechanical sweeper equipped with a rotating broom that directs debris into a collection hopper. It is designed to remove both surface and subsurface FOD at the same time, offering versatile performance though it is not specialized in either task. Because debris is collected directly into the onboard hopper, the optional disposal station is not required when using this attachment.
